HELP!!! @ Track and broke lug bolt

How do you change a rear wheel lug bolt? Thanks!

you drive it home and pull the assembly off.

So the entire rear hub has to come off??

you can do it with the hub in the car but is a PITA.

Thanks!!! Ultimately my wife brought me a new stud and lug nut. I changed the one broken one with the hub on the car (you're right...it is a PITA) and carried on with my day. Thanks again for the advice!

OK...I am going to change one or two others soon and will post some pictures. It was definitely NOT a good time!!! Honestly this raises another issue for me - why are so many people cross-threading their studs? I have been driving and working on cars for 27 years and have never had this issue before. But now I have 2 studs with damaged threads. Do you think it has to do with the design of the lug nuts?

btw your wife is a very nice person if she drove all the way to the track just to give you a lug and stud. =D
