Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
Hey guys,
there's a pretty good rebate on the V12 and I was thinking of getting for my X. For those who have it, can you comment on how many miles you got out of them and how hard you drove them. Thanks!

I have had them for 8k miles and I would give them a 3.5 out of 5 stars for a non track-street only tire. They have no where near the grip and feedback of the stock Advans, but offer much better wet performance and tire life as they're only 1/3 worn, and should easily get 25k out of them (I got only 9k out of the stocks).
The side walls are soft and transistion slow compared to the stock, and other's I've had like RE50s, RE70s and Faulken RTs.
For the value they're suitable, but my next tire will likely the Nitto NT5s, which for a value priced tire, is supposed to over more grip, better sidewall dynamics, though at the cost of more noise and less life.

"The Ventus V12 evo K110 is Hankook's Max Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes and high-performance sedans. The Ventus V12 evo is designed to combine comfort and control in dry and wet road conditions. However like all summer tires, the Ventus V12 evo is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice."

They were ok in the winter in temps in the 20s/30s, but the few times that it got below the 20s with snow they didn't do well at all (as compared to an actual dedicated winter or AS/Touring tire).
State your purpose and needs? Budget and mileage requirments? Personally I'd rather have better response and feedback, than grip.

DO NOT DRIVE THESE TIRES IN FREEZING TEMPS OR WITH ANY SNOW, SLUSH, OR ICE ON THE ROAD! Simple as that, these are not tires meant for any type of winter conditions.
Quick update on my set: 9k miles and still showing plenty of remaining life, I expect to at least get close to 20k miles on these tires. For comparison, my OEM Advans only lasted 10k miles with my driving, and they were pretty much bald and full of bulges at that point. My driving style and the alignment on the car has not changed (I had the car realigned at 700 miles, then again at 2k miles, so a bad factory alignment did not affect the lifespan of my OEM tires).

I've had these are my car for a little over 3k miles & I am happy with them so far. I've done some spirited back road driving and they handle/grip pretty well. I had an alignment done after putting them on, nothing crazy...0 toe all around -1.8 camber up front & -1 camber in the rear. I rotate my tires every 2 oil changes, so I will be rotating them next oil change. I went to the track yestesday and without touching tire pressure I was able to cut a 1.64 60 ft...I am using a 255/40/17 tire...So far a great tire for the price...

v12 tires have very soft walls, very comfortable ride. i would highly recommend this for a daily driver. These tires also run small height wise. i dropped 1.5 inches on 255/40. get 245/45 or if they make 255/45.
