lug nuts 35 vs 55mm

Looking for someone's opinion who's had both 35 and 55mm lug nuts... 55mm cost more, weight more, if I'm running factory studs why do I feel like I should get these...did they look better? Easier to change out? If you have owned both, and were buying a new set, which route would you go? Thank you
