5-spoke STI wheels - fit on Evo X?

I know. Blasphemy thinking about putting STI wheels on an Evo

The specs are 18x8.5 +55.

I plugged it into a wheel offset calculator and the offset gives more clearance in from the hub - so it seems like they would work.

Anybody know for sure if these will fit?

Thanks

at +55 they are going to sit way inside the wheelwell if they clear the Brembos but I doubt they will without a spacer. If you like the design just get a set of stock 06 350Z wheels(non staggerred). They will be closer to our stock offset than any OEM Subaru wheels.
I'm sure you already know this but these STI wheels you are talking bout are pretty heavy.

What year STI? Up to 04 sti = 5x100 pattern and 05+ = 5x114.3.

And +55 sounds ridiculous.....

the GR STI is the only one that came with the wheels he is referring to....

08-09 years I believe. oh and to add that your trying to do this on a X.... they are going to look a bit odd.... just think, the stock X wheels are +38 and they already look like they are sunken into the body of the car... I am sure you will need to run a 20 mm spacer to clear the Brembos so even at an offset of +35, they will still sit inside the wheel well.

I had an 07 STI and are pretty familiar with their wheels but I have never seen someone put them on any EVO. Its is usually the other way around. The GR STI guys run EVO X wheels on their cars as our offsets are considered aggressive for their cars.

Thanks guys. I love the look of the wheels and have a line on a full set of mint wheels for $400. Wanted to see if they would fit, but sounds like they don't. And I'm not interested in running spacers.

Thanks again.

Sorry for late reply, but yeah, 55 offset would not work out well... performance wise and looks IMO.

+55 offset is no bueno. I know 8th gen civic guys were sticking TSX wheels on their cars which had an offset of +50. didn't work out to well for them.
