Toyo R1R

In the spectrum of tires, starting with no-name re-treads on the bottom and Hoosier slicks on the top, where does the R1R fit? Is it equivalent to the RS-3? More like an NT01? I can not seem to figure that out...

IMO, along the lines of the current summer tires on the market, Dunlop Z1, Hankook RS-3, and the like. The R1R has great wet traction, and are actually used as a rain tire by a lot of track guys.

I agree, these are all in the same class. Also includes the NT615 and RE01R/RE11R.

Drivers seem to have different opinions among each of them, but they would all be considered to be in the same class. (Personally, I think the RS3 are near the top of that class though).
