Ever use Sears for alignment?

I want to get an alignment performed since I noticed the evo is pulling left a little. I read Sears has some new state of the art alignment equipment. Have you guys gone there and had a good experience or would you say to go somewhere else?

Wherever you'll go it will most likely depend on the technician doing the alignment.

I had good experience with the Sears I went to last time, but that doesn't mean much. One NTB will do a good job for me while the other won't. Same deal with Discount Tire. It's pretty much a luck thing.

The only thing that can botch the whole deal if they take your money, the problem is not fixed, but they won't realign it.

Dont do it. They use craftsman but dont hire craftsmen. They will treat your car just like a minivan zero care will be taken. My 2 cents

I use a local they have a 3 year warranty program with unlimited alignments. I think I paid like 180 bucks for 3 years of unlimited alignments. They do a few local Evo's there so generally they set it up how I want the suspension. Never had issues, but I guess it depends on shop more than the brand.

Funny you say that because they only hire SAE cert mechanics.

I doubt they all are SAE. Most shops have 1 or 2 guys that have SAE certs. And does not mean they are good at alignments or understand how to use the tool. That's all they are; no different than a wrench.

Must be different out there. Out here I know they do use them being I have a few buddys who have worked for them in the past and both are certified ASC mechanics.

I work at sears and we did get some new stuff. But we only have dealer specs. So if you have lower the car or anything with the ride it will be off. And I think he means ase techs. There are guys would take care with customers cars like my self. That's every where tho my friend.
