"No fat girls or I will rub"

if you want to continue running the same camber while going more aggressive, stretching the tire will give you more clearance.
As far as weight, a 10.5" rpf1 weighs right around the weight of the stock 8.5 wheels. BTW performance went out the window along time ago when i slammed it.
Just for reference this is a 255/35 stretched on a 10" wheel and a 10.5" wheel:

Here I was thinking that - based on the thread title - I was about to read an admission from the OP that he is uncontrollably attracted to women with high BMIs - so much so that he can't help but pleasure himself whenever he meets one - but then it turns out to be just another "will these tires and wheels fit?" thread. Booo.
You otha brothas can't deny,
That when a girl drives up with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You adjust your springs, wanna pull out your sub
'Cause you notice that butt needs rubbed
See if she'll hang tomorrow,
So you have time to measure the Recaro
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna ride with you
And take ya picture
My homeboys tried to get me to drop
But that butt you got hits all the bump-stops

255s are going to look stupid stretched on a 10.5 IMO. I see pics of 265s and think it is way too much stretch for a tire.
You don't need a stretch to clear you just need more camber or stiffer spring rates if you're lower than 1.5" lower than stock. A 255 on a 10.5 is just stupid unless you only want the look of a stretched tire. You're losing performance running something like that and if you wanted to run a 255 you could have run that on a 8.5" wheel and saved a ton of weight over a 10.5".

And of course it would be easier if we ran normal tires and kept everything at stock height and no engine mods,..it would all just work perfectly, but we dont like to keep things stock :P

There are two different ways to approach the question of "stretched." You can focus on what it looks like or you can focus on what wheel width will get the most performance out of a given tire. One of these approaches belongs in this forum; the other does not. Put another way, one of these approaches rightfully is ridiculed in this forum; the other might be ridiculed in the Appearance forum (but I wouldn't know about that).

9.5 with a +15 offset with 275's
These stick out waaaay further than the pic above, i will try to get a side shot - but they are at least an inch more rubber outside the wheel well in my pic, maybe more

no performance benefit. when you're slammed as low as some of use are we need the extra space so the tire wont rub the fender/fender liner. when a wheel/tire cambers in. If the tire is square with the wheel [ the top corner may catch on the fender/liner. If the tire is stretched / it gives extra clearance. No performance benefit at all
