Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 265/35/18

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 265/35/18 mounted on Enkei RPF1 18/9.5/+15

Good street tire with quiet, comfortable ride. Does well in rain. NOT good for any autocross or track use. 44PSI cold in fronts w/ -2.3 camber and I still roll out on the edges of the sidewall. The compound is great. It has good heat and wear resistance like any of the silicon matrix tires but the sidewalls are too soft for anything beyond spirited street driving. The sidewalls are simply too soft.

Furthermore, I read a couple of comments that this tire will go in the snow. Maybe so in an absolute emergency but pe prepared to rely heavily on the SAWC and allow a lot of extra time to get where you're going. If you expect to make a daily commute on them, forget about it. They don't clear well enough.

As far as fitment is concerned the above setup required a very slight fender roll on the rear when run on Swift Spec-R springs.

My driving experience: PCA, SCCA instructor with professional GT racing background.

Hope that helps anyone looking for an inexpensive street tire that can be used on track days. The Nitto NT555 is much better suited to that category.
