Need help with wheels
I am not a big fan of rotas and when i bought my car it came with grids with volk stickers tricked me at first till i got a closer cant deny i was disappointed although they still look good on the car but they are still knockoffs and like some here it bothers me. I am saving to get weds sa55 i love their look and aren't nearly as much as volks which are out of my price range for just wheels, i much rather spend it on things that will give my car better performance.
That being said i would like suggestions on what to do. My grids are 18/9.5/+22 with 265/35 tires. I really like wide tires im even thinking of going 275 when i get the weds but that wont be anytime soon. My question is should i try to get rid of them and trade for stock wheels while i save for the weds or should i just keep the grids and not let the fact that they are knockoffs bother me.
In a much simpler way stock wheels vs rota grids?
also if anyone knows what is the widest tire that could go on the stock enkies or bbs wheels i feel that would help my decision. Thanks everyone

It depends on how long you want to drive around on stock wheels and if it bothers you that you have Rota's. It doesn't bother some and others would never put them on their car.
I have put 265/35/18's on my stock wheels and had no issues.

Is it worth saying that the OP is going about this backwards by getting specific about the wheels when he or she hasn't firmly decided on tires?
No?
OK, then I won't. In fact, I'll say nothing at all. I'll just go back to dealing with the problems that were caused by the unfreezing process.

If you're keeping the wheels anyway why do you need a set of stockers?
If i had to pick between selling the rotas and running stock with spacers until i could afford the wheels i wanted, i would choose the latter.

I would keep the Rotas. Who cares if they are knock offs. Are you going to be racing? They look good on the car. So why change them to the stockers.
Also why is your car 3 different colors.
