Looking for drilled/slotted rotors that fit OEM brembo brakes on the 08 GSR

Yeah yeah there's a few threads on this topic, they're old. It's 2013 I want updated answers.

OEM rotors are below minimum spec so I need new ones TODAY.

I don't care about the pro's & cons of having drilled/slotted rotors. I just want to know which ones to get.

I really want it to be drilled&slotted but it seems like there aren't many options so I'm considered just slotted.

Must fit factory specs with Brembo Calipers.

2 piece, 1 piece, I don't care

I don't like brake dust & I don't like noisy brakes

I'm going with Girodisc Front/Rear Magic Pads for brake pads.

Car is DD, with the occasional drag strip racing and canyon run.

Budget is $1,000 for all 4.

I've checked out the;

1. Powerstop Evolution (Z16) brake disc and pad kit Part #: P15K4145 | Mfr #: K4145

I don't even know if those fit correctly, but they are cheap and am considering them even though I'm sure they're crap. Autopartswarehouse website says they fit my car

2. Stoptech supposedly makes a 1 piece drilled/slotted rotor that I can get for $145 for a pair of fronts and $145 for a pair of rears. I've heard theirs warp super quick though.

3. I'm checking out the " adamsrotors " website. I have no idea what the quality is on their products but they make custom rotors. Any input would be much appreciated.

4. If all else fails I'm going with the centric slotted rotors on the AMS website

Please help me decide.

Drilled rotors are prone to crack when heated up. Dont buy them.

I use the DBA 4000 temp series one piece rotors...not a crack in 5 years of using htem in DD , Autox and couple of HDPE.

Couple them with some good pads and you will be very happy

I use rotor pro slotted rotors. I do caution you on the Girodisc Front/Rear Magic Pads. They still squeal on me once they get warmed up. I have come to the conclusion, however, that brake noise is a phantom that will come and go if you have anything other than stock pads. We can talk about shims, brake lube, and bedding in all day, if your brakes feel like pissing you off, they will.

Odds are, when the thread-starter learns that the drilled and slotted DBAs have gold hats, instead of black, he'll either become orgasmic or turn down the advice.

Save yourself some money and get drilled and slotted centric rotors (which are branded as stoptechs) from rockauto.com
