The perfect wheel / tire combo?

To start I am getting new wheels very soon and my benchmark is around a grand and change. Best looking wheel in everyone's honest opinion? With that said funds aren't going to cut it for new tires but my stock ones are perfectly fine, what size wheel can I get to fit my stock tires without streching, maybe even achieve a semi stanced look? And if you have a cosmic blue evo like I do what color would you go with? Thanks a bunch!

I just can't resist, like a moth to flame....

I suggest you do your own research, make your own decisions and not follow the aesthetic advice of a bunch of people you don't know. Now, for the tire size, why not just paint the stockers and get some spacers until you can actually upgrade the look and performance.

Agreed. Paint the OE wheels and add 15mm spacers.

I have black powdercoated oem wheels and they look nice, only drawback is they're a pain to clean. I recently lowered my car 1.5", and from what I've seen in other threads, 25mm spacers look best on a lowered X, so I've ordered them. I'll post a pic once I install them

Don't you think that you should warn people about the body-work that will be needed when you suggest 25mm spacers?

Haven't read about it being an issue even with my springs. Even so, nothing a heat gun can't fix :P

He hasn't mentioned it being lowered, either.

25mm spacers would cause problems? I've seen a lot of people with 25 with no brought up issues so far, how many mm to sit flush with the fenders ?

Why don't you try to find some coilovers, spacers , and paint your wheels? Winning

just got my spacers today and installed them. didn't get a close up pic because it started to rain right after i got these. there is slight rub at wheel lock, though i do have the h&r springs which are supposed to be lowest at 1.5" i will try to hit the inner fenders with a heat gun.
