"Best brake pads for a reasonable price" is going to get you a lot of different answers.
I bought girodisc magic pads to replace my stock pads. I honestly can say I love them. Low dust and quiet. I had them on for around 35K miles with lots of hard braking throughout their life. I am ordering another set and it's under 150 bucks shipped for all four corners.
If you are looking for a stock replacement that is going to out last the stock pads and be as good or better than stock, I think these are a great choice. A few people have said stoptech and I have heard good things about them as well, but I have never tried them. I just like the Girodisc company and reputation, and the quality of their parts that I have used.
