coilovers

as you all know, spring is finally coming!! so im looking to buy coilovers for this season as now i am on springs. I want to lower my car more so there is little to none wheel gap but the car will also see one or two(max) track days. I've been looking into FA 500's as theyre affordable and ive heard great reviews about them. Also i wanna stay under $1300. anyone know is the FA's will do the trick for me?

I have some Ohlins, but am asking more than $1300 though. Haven't had any experience with FA's though.

yeah i would love to own some ohlins, but way out of my budget haha. I did also look at the teins but i just saw so many good reviews on the FA's! Can you go low enough to cover the wheel gap on the teins?

Have you considered H&R coilovers? I think they're great for DD. Replacing mine for Ohlins early next month.

I purchased my tein street flex coilovers about 6 months ago. They retail for around $1,450, I got them for $1,200 and I haven't had a problem with them at all.

I have Tanabe S-0Cs on my EVO 7 but I don't know if they make them for the Evo X application. Paid $990 for em though which was nice..

I just ended up purchasing the dsg limited edition fa 500s. They're beautiful, just gotta wait 3-4 for them to be built. Good deal on them though

From what I've heard H&R's are a good alternative for a bit less money

I'm looking at the Tiens but don't want a massive drop, maybe 0.25-0.50" and want to avoid adding any additional understeer that I've experienced with a friend's X that H&Rs and mine when I had Eibach Springs, yet another friend with BCs remained neutral.
