Federal 595 RSR Sizing help

Hi everyone,

I looked around and found out that Federal 595 RSR tires are extra wide. I have a 2015 Evo X GSR and don't know what size to get for these set of tires since they don't have the 245/40/18. Would 235/40/18 be equivalent to the stock size? Or should I get 255/35/18. I'm so stressed about this because I can't find a lot of information about them.

Thank you.

get the 235 if youre staying on the stock rim. A 245 will also work just fine. Don't stress out about it

It's actually not that much bigger, only like 5mm wider at the most. The sidewall has an outward bulge to it though which gives it the appearance of being wider. THe only downside to the 595's are the availability and road noise. But i don't have a cat or muffler so i can't tell anyway.

i'm more interested in their 275. Surprised they're not making a 285 though. Oh well. For that price i'm not allowed to complain.

Their tires run wide, like really wide. I usually add 15mm or so to their stated size. My 255's were as wise as other brands 275's. I've seen their 275's, and they look wider than your standard 275mm tire.

Sweet thanks! Also, I'm going to track the Evo. How many track days do you think I can get out of the tires? Thanks!

Tires in this category can last 5 to 8 track weekends, depending on size and how much you like to slide.

Has anyone seen a review or had first hand experience with how the new RS-RR compare to other known performers ala RS3V2, AD08R or RE71R on the track? Seems to be an unknown quantity.......
