Upgraded my rotors second time
Almost Two years ago i replaced my oem rotors to girodisc two piece front and back with magic pads. Theres nothing magic about those pads too. Driving in the rain or snow there was always that fraction of a second delay. Those pads suck!
Fast forward My DD 150+- miles per day EVO and almost two years later the girodisc rotors have a huge lip, its time to replace those rings or just upgrade again.
The biggest stoptech dealer on the east coast is about 10 minutes from my house (so convenient when i need parts) I bought a set of stoptech drilled two piece aero rotors including Posi Quiet semi-metallic brake pads. (Front and back pads under $100 less brake dust too)
theres this long quiet road near my house thats excellent for bedding in the pads. I bedded in the pads two times, All four sides were smoking
Its a nite and day diffrence from before. It feels just like when i upgraded from oem to girodisc. Immediate upgraded stopping power.
I give the stoptech two thumbs up

pads have more to do with the bite than the rotors do.
so after 100,000+ miles in those 2 years per your comment (150+ / day for 2 years), the 2 piece rotors have a lip.
I would have to say you got your monies worth out of that set. how many miles do you have on your evo?

Yes i bought new two piece rotors again.
Im gonna hit 158000 miles this week, i definetly got my monies worth from Girodisc!
I wanted to try another A1 company. So far i like Stoptech better for DD street driving, when braking late i feel like i have more confidence.
