Best tire for the dragstrip?
Everything I have read thus far points to doing a small brake kit in order to fit a 17" slick or radial & I refuse to get rid of the stock brakes.
I currently have 18x9.5 enkeis with 265 Direzza 102 & I cannot get the car to hook from a launch.
So what tire would you all recommend? I have the stock GSR wheels that I would most likely be using. However if necessary, I could mount them on my enkei's.

Direzza 102 is your first problem. That is not sticky tire.
However, if you do get a sticky tire in 18's, you're simply asking to wheel hop the drive train to death. Need to go with smaller front brakes to fit 17's if you want to go fast at the strip. Even smaller brakes and 16's would be ideal.

So what are some decent 18" sticky tires that would be alright on an unprepared surface?

You can try something in the 200tw range. Bridgestone RE71r, Hankook RS4, BFG Rival S. Or go super agrerssive and get NT01's or R888's. But the stiff sidewalls on these tires is going to wreak havoc on your drivetrain trying to launch the car for best 60ft times for drag racing.
