Exclamation Inappropriate Avatars

We have noticed lately that there is a new trend of using sexual avatars that some people view as offensive. It is our intention to make this board a place that all members can enjoy regardless of age, occupation or marital status. Due to the fact that a lot of members use the board from work or even from home where they have young kids, the staff has decided that all avatars used should be clean and appropriate. We ask for your help with this regard so please change your avatars if they are sexually explicit or report any avatar that you find offensive. We will also change them as we see fit but we would like it if you did it on your own. Any members that will not abide to this rule will receive a formal request and if they still refuse to cooperate, they will receive a formal warning.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

EVOM staff

An inappropriate avatar is described as any one or a combination of the following:

1. Depictions of female or male nudity, whether this nudity is explicitly viewable in the pic, or implied (ie..arm covering an otherwise naked b00b).

2. Depictions of illegal activities. This includes, but is not limited to, depictions of illicit drugs or drug themes, street gang/ organized crime related themes, and street racing themes.

3. Depictions of any sort that can be considered 'not work friendly'.

4. Depictions that are considered inappropriate if viewed by a minor (person under 18).

If you have any questions regarding the appropriateness of an avatar you would like to use, please contact a Moderator BEFORE you insert that avatar into your profile.

If you are asked to remove an inappropriate avatar, you will be expected to remove that avatar within 24 hours of initial contact by a Moderator. Failure to remove the avatar on your own MAY lead to the accrual of Warnings or the loss of the priv to have an avatar of your own.

Enforcement of these rules is to be conducted at the Moderators discretion. But if you see an avatar that appears to be inappropriate, please report a post containing that avatar to the Moderators (ie...click on the 'report bad post' button in the bottom left corner of each post).

SC~
