This was the most helpful thing for anyone that is interested in tuning their Lancer. I wanted to know though, if that 1/4 of an inch makes that much of a difference?

very good article, i went to school for suspension, and i learned that the only thing wrong with lowering your car too far is that, eventually you get it to the point where the wheels can not be corrected anywhere close to factory specs. But keep in mind, there are so many mods hidden in the dark about shims and and cam bolts and so forth. I have seen honda's with wheels tucked sit almost perfectly negative camber free, it can happen but heed their warning also .

wow...
ok first off, I know I don't post much here.
Second, when I got my lancer, i couldn't find ANYTHING on where to begin, I'm not that much of a noob with cars but i'm not gonna say that I know more than the next guy.

This guide is really really helpful... hell, it even gives a nice price range in things... now I feel like I have hope...

thanks all

I would also have to agree that this article was darn good. I just have one question though. I noticed that there was a turbocharger on the to do list, but from what i have been reading lately is that the pistons are the weakest link in the Lancer. The begginers, like me, are trying to install performance add ons, not a ground up rebuild. I guess what i'm trying ask here, are the rumers true about the weak pistons? I'm really interested in establishing some boost to the 2.0 just to liven it up a bit. I have considered nitrous, but if the pistons are weak then I don't want to cause a meltdown.

You can run 5-6 psi till the cows come home. Over that you may wanna be wary, especially if you can't pump enough fuel.

Can we get an updated version of the Road Race US Lancer Upgrade Path with all the new mods? Example ECU, Intake Manifold, and all other new mods in order of importance. Or atleast what in order steps RRM took to make the beast they call the Drag lancer!

ES Exhaust?

does anyone know where i can find a good exhaust system (whole system, not just muffler) for my '03 Lancer ES? I've been looking everywhere and I haven't found anything.

Email: dunny789@yahoo.com
