Of course it's not rice. When you install a new better clutch, is that rice too?

if its functional, please tell me how its rice? just wondering. adding down force on a car that needs it at top speeds is function. if anyone tracks their car, 9lbs of downforce at 70mph is noticeable! therefore not rice

plus its not huge and made of aluminum. it cant be rice!

EVO 8 w/ big spoiler, adding on vortex gen= not rice
EVO 8 RS w/ no spoiler adding vortex gen = rice
EVO 8 w/ sm spoiler adding vortex gen= 1 cup rice
EVO 8 (non MR) w/ MR badge= 1 pot rice
Hey, i know i couldv'e gotten an MR for just $500.00 more but i really wanted the GSR SSL. I paid as much as an MR but i still wouldn't put an MR badge on mine. i (personal opinion on the whole matter) think that putting higher badges on a cheaper car actually makes you look like a poseur that couldn't afford the real thing. i can afford the real thing and still wouldn't
I equate it to putting an M3 badge on a 323, a AMG E55 badge on an E320( Don't laugh, my boss actually did that, and he wanted my help. I got him the AMG badge, but refused to get him an E55 badge, so now it says E32!), or a Turbo badge on a carrera 2.
Just isn't right.
BUT, at the same time, i think that people should be able to do whatever they lke to their own cars. (hey i'm guilty too, i had a GT-R badge on my escort GT, and an SiR badge on my civic EX)

Say what you want mrbkkt1, my sh** looks HOT and we're not talking about badges anyways. We are talking about functional parts, VG's. It must be rice to put in a 1g bov too then

i can't believe how some of you are overreacting about this topic. some of you have even gone far enough to make lists of every possible combination, followed by whether it was rice or not (although, reading through those lists gave me a great laugh ).

how about if you like it, buy it. if you don't like it, don't buy it.

i don't think putting it on a non MR is rice, but in reality the whole product is rice... no way would i put the same thing that is made out of old people's hips on my roof only to say "when i get over 150 mph, it helps keep the rear end from coming out".... thats retarded...

Listen I say it's not ricey at all. I mean it is a fuctional part of the car and you can purchase that as an option from the dealer. I mean it's just standard equipment on the MR but heh I'm not try to be like an MR.

If you read my post i said that putting vortex gen on GSR is not rice.
I like the tails, they are actually less ricey than the stocks( ironic isn't it). now if you didn't have the spoiler(i.e. RS, or lancer es) and you added VG, and MR basge, it would look just plain silly! also, try an s2k or other short antenna. the stock one will rub spoiler when trunk is opened:

Here is my ride,(when brand new:

actually, i dpn't mind the length, it's just that repeated rubbing on the spoiler will leave an ugly mark, well, the length is better. You will have to cut about 1/8 inch or the little screw of the honda antenna to make it fit flush though.
