My first car was a turbo 5 speed...I haven't put a single scratch on any of my cars in 13 years of driving, and I drive a lot!

Update:

I installed an HKS EVC 5 in my car last night. I set Mode A to 11 PSI, and Mode B to 20 PSI. Mode A will be used for everyday driving, Mode B will be used for when I want to "play" from time to time.

Let's see how much damage I will do to my motor with this "ridiculously" low boost setting.

Well...I think you will be fine as long as you crank your distributor cap to advance your timing...you might want to re-jet your carburator too...
