Noise in Steering

I'm getting a wierd noise coming from the steering pump area when the steering is turned either fully left or right while car is stationary. It sounds like something is contacting a belt and the idle also drops a bit. Sometimes too I'll get a horn type sound when turning and moving the steering wheel back to center position.

Please help with input...Thanks

Check your steering fluid levels and belts of course. It is a high pitch squeeking noise? The belts might be slipping.
