Welcome! You got a better back story than I do, I got interested in the Evo after watching the special feature section of the "Fast and Furious: Tricked Out Edition" Where they modded an Evo. (Thats the only good thing about the dvd )

Like everyone else says, its not a good idea to go straight to an evo without any prior experience. As for me, its: '92 Acura Vigor>'9x Subaru with AWD and Man. Trans.> Evo IX, or X depending on when I buy it.

By the way, dont use Firefox on this forum, it dosent count posts correctly.
I use it, but I'm stubborn.

Welcome to the forum. At 14 I think I was still into my bike. To assure you a long life I suggest that you use some of that hard earned money to go to a driving/car control school before you buy a high performance car.

When you do go to buy a car get a front drive car and get used to understeer. You are not likely to die in a front drive car and you can build some skills along the way. After a couple of years in that go for an Evo. They are amazing cars but the cars ability is generally well above the driving abilities of the average driver. As a result, by the time you find the limits of this car you will have no idea how to recover.

For the record, before I had my current 2005 Evo MR(graphite gray) I had(in order):

1. 1983 Nissan Pulsar NX(front drive)
2. 1977 VW Scirocco(front)
3. 1985 Nissan Sentra(front)
4. 1988 Acura Legend(front)
5. 1994 Toyota Supra Turbo(rear)
6. 1997 Infiniti Q45(rear)
7. 1994 Toyota Supra Turbo(rear)
8. 1997 BMW M3(rear)
9. 1994 Toyota Supra Turbo(rear)
10. 2003 Mitsu Evo VIII(AWD)
11. 2005 Mitsu Evo VIII MR(AWD)

Ummm, incorrect. Firefox does not control post count. What forums you post in control your post count.

Either way, welcome aboard...again.

Welcome Mujo1...my favorite car was always the M3 until I got my EVO. I can't believe i didnt' get one sooner than i did. Not taking anything away from the M3, still want one later.

Technov; that's an impressive list of car in your past. Hope you kept a few of those in your garage along with the MR
