Talking Prospective EVO buyer...

I currently own a 2002 SVT Focus, with a lot of work done to it. Its got a custom turbo kit, fully built block, st. 3 CM clutch, alum. flywheel, quaife LSD, body, interior, all suspension, etc.
I love my car. But it is rough only having one car when doing all of this. I do my own work on the car, so that helps, but its a pain when things dont go right, specifically motor/turbo problems. The motor is currently being put in, forged everything, all that jazz, but I am afraid that once its all done, i will still have problems.
So, my problem is this: I love the EVO and like the STI. I want a factory turbo car to start with, if I get rid of my focus. I am not too sure what to do. Should I keep the focus? Sell it? I only owe about 7k on it. WHat would you guys do?

THen, lol, (i know this is a lot to say)
I know there are different options with the EVO. I want the MR, but cant afford it. I will go with the regular EVO, no RS. So, what options are worth getting? I have read that not all have HID headlights? True? What other little things like that should i look for? I want HIDs, wing, no sunroof, no leather, and also the lsd in the front. Those arent standard on what years? Thanks. MOst likely I will buy a used one. Is there a problem with that? Stay with a new one?

THanks a lot for the help, in advance. I am new to this forum, but addicted to Focaljet.com, my focus forums! Hopefully you guys are as cool! Looks like it so far, just reading! Thanks again.

erm... 05 evo standard doesn't come all those HID, Leather, sunroof
LSD in front would be 05 regular Evo (i think)

your best bet would be going regular Evo 05' , and get HID aftermarket

You have to buy the SSL package ( sun, sound, and leather) which cost around $3500

If you think your going to be free of issues by buying an Evo, you're in for a surprise. Drive an Evo aggressively and you'll bring on plenty of maintenance expenses. If you want factory HID's get an earlier model so equipped.
