Whatever you say...

At 3000rpm, our cars make almost no power. Every Evo may be slightly different, but not THAT much different. Look at my stock dyno chart. At 3500rpm, I was making 160awhp and 110awtq. At 3000rpm, it was WAY lower...if you extrapolate the lines, it puts me at less than 125awhp and less than 100awtq. Plus, my gearing is shorter than yours, so I make power sooner in each gear...

The 10.5 hotside definitely helps, but I think it's the 6 speeds in the MR's that is also helping alot. The torque manipulation that the 6 speeds have seems to help, especially in the 1/8 mile. I haven't seen the times that the 05 5 speeds are posting yet, it seems that the MR's are turning the best numbers. Any 05 5 speed guys willing to post their times and mods?
Check my signature... Tonight I plan on making a visit to the strip and conditions should be about perfect to see what Buschur Stage 2 can do for me. I'm shooting for low 12's on 93 octane but we will see. If things go well I'll pour in some race gas and go for that record run.

Chris, I expect low 12s on pump from you and high 11s on some mix of higher octane. As long as you don't do better on pump than I did on 104/93 mix, I'll be happy, but I'm sure you'll beat me with a higher octane mix, since I have no driving skill advantage over you.

Tell me how it feels to not get stuck at 111mph in 4th gear after you're done...

Uh, yeah, I already said I have a different tranny...mine is a 6spd, but that only gives me power earlier than you due to shorter gears.

That's how fast the 05s are. I ran 13.1@104 on a bad launch. He ran 13.0@105 on a better launch. With a great launch, 12.9@105 is possible. All of us have an ECU; I don't know why you keep talking about that. I think what you mean to say is some sort of tuning that modifies the ECU (flash or piggyback). Chris didn't have any mods on hiw 13.0, and I had no mods on my 13.1.

You will probably run 14.0@95.

why you think so low of me. if you ran 13.1 i can do that and also 13 just need to learn how to launch and i can feel it well so i will do as so. i race people from a roll like 3gear pull to top of 4th or so and like friend has a wrx and we like dead even but he has work done to his car so i dont know its all about launch and 1 to 4th for are cars.

1) You have no clue about anything on this car
2) You don't know how to launch (most important factor in the 1/4-mile)
3) You think your power drops off at 5500 (you will not know how or when to shift)
4) Most Evo owners have trouble their first time, and you sound like you are probably in the bottom 1%

I'm getting a ****ing migraine by reading your posts. You need to be sent back to 4th grade before they let you graduate high school.

Your loss. Hate to see what happens when you lose the 'good paying job' in a few years and have to sit down and write a resume with those gramm3r skillz.

Power loss at 5500rpms also has something to do with boost taper that our cars have in stock form or without a boost controller.
