I'm using the HKS RS Suction Pipe with a K&N cone filter. No complaints.

Side Note: The 'accordian' style filters like K&N and other companies use, are much better at filtration than the foam filter like HKS uses. Just a FYI.

HKS is a high QUALITY Coorporation or company, or WTF ever it is. They wouldn't be using cheap filters like that. C'mon, HKS would'nt do such a thing, or would they. Too much RISK to be doing such a stupid thing like that, especially for such a popular Corp or Com or WTF ever it is.

Wet (oiled) type filters can also be trouble for MAF equipped cars. They do filter better than the foam style filters. IMHO, the best comprimise is the Apexi filter

i ordered the injen intake kit with the upper ic pipe off line. i got it for 365. from logitect.com they do real good busness. i donno if they are still running that deal but it is worth asking them. and i noticed a good gain top end with the intake. i guess some people would say diffrent.

i used the cover from a wrecked car it was a lot cheaper than the blitz induction cover with the same result.
i plan on adding some heat shielding later. If you can't tell i come from the DSM school of mods aka/cheap

I got the K&N cone filter now.....but thinking of going back to stock box /K&N drop in. The MAF signals are really erratic with aftermarket intakes, will post results when i do a comparison data log.

^^ Very true! If you don't have an EMS or a custom flash- you won't gain a whole lot out of an intake- and you'll lose some idle.

Do you people that are using a K&N drop filter dry your filter out before you install it. Ive herd to do this to avoid complications with oil coated MAF's
