S2000 to an Evo8

Anyone here made the same change? How long did you take to get use
to the way the Evo8 drives? I feel like I'm driving a tractor trailer, meaning
the seating position and the location of the pedals.

Actually, I've found that the seating position of the evo is much more comfortable...especially on longer drives. The seat itself is better and more supportive. Also, it doesnt slope downward towards the butt area. You will get used to it quickly.

Yes..it is much more comfortable, just feels weird sitting so high. Also, the clutch
pedal is so far out.

I always knew the little was there. It's not that. If you ever driven an S2, you basically sitting on the floor and when you clutch in you step foward. On the Evo is like stepping down on the clutch. I guess I need a little getting use to.

i dont know the s2000 is nice as hell its so tight and every thing. like siting in it just is screaming take me around turns fast. wipe the back end out. and the evo is all around to me more rally like. and yes sitts a lot higher. but coilovers take care of that a bit lol. but i do like both seats. but on the evo 05 leather seat i dont know but to me where the back end of the butt part of seat seems a little to small. becasue like i find im kind of on one of the sides of it. and no im not fat. 6' 1" and 155LB so not fat. maybe i have a fat butt tho lol. thats only thing i find not good. like they need to make the back end of butt a little wider and the side walls of the butt part higher. like middle of the butt part. there for around turns. becasue its not tight like s2000 is. where the door and center console holds you in. anyhow thats all i have to say about seats.

Evo8 is no doubt a quick car...but have you driven a S2 before?
I wouldn't use the word smoke...maybe quicker off the line.

total know what you mean. i kind of like sitting on floor more becasue. the evo has hard ride. and when hit those bumps makes foot go up and down there for hit gas up and down which = puck puck and also when doing cluch and then dont get a smooth ride. but when on the floor that does not happen and its easyer. but i wont say evo like total down its more like 45 angle. dont diss so much on the evo layout. its easyer on you for seating in traffic and what not. s2000 have to kind of clime down and up to get out and in the thing. so if old or have back or some kind of defect in your body. its harder on you. but when in it love the mins spending driving.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm in no way dissing the Evo. Why would I decide
to get it in the first place? Yes, the Evo is very comfortable due to more space and
the height of the seats. Just feels different then wat I was use to. Also I must
admit, it is much easier getting in and out of the car.
