i am looking for a evo 7 or 8 wing in the L.A. area. i would perfer OEM style in either yellow or black, but would look at anything. thanks for the help.

 

i dont want to sound like a ***** but dont do it. look for another spoiler. i have seen a few lancers with the evo wing and it honestly looked kind of funny.. to each their own but im just giving you my opinion

 

we have the same trunks....does that look funny?

 

just cause i don't have a big money evo dosen't mean i can't have the look, plus lancers and evos have the save trunk and share alot of the same parts.

i agree, but at the same time a lancer is not an evo...

i know a lancer is not an evo, but the evo had to come from somthing. if there hadn't been a lancer, there wouldn't be an evo. i know evos are awesome, i want one in the worst way, but for the time being the closest i can get to one is the wing and maybe a cheap badge slapped on the trunk. you know what they say imitation is the highest form of flattery. so don't hate on the lancers, our time will soon come. thanks for your help and i hope to see you out on the streets.

 

i wasnt hating on the lancer at all... after all it is an lancer evolution... but i was saying that without all the other stuff it just looks out of place. im sure there are body kits and wings ect made specifically for lancers that would fit the car better. but it is your car. if i ever go wingless (which i always debate) ill keep this thread in mind

im guessing its yellow... i have seen a couple lancers with the evo wing. it looked pretty good with a body kit. the 7 wing seemed to fit the lancers skinnier stance better than the 8 wing though...

 

The evo is NOT based off the lancer.. i believe its the other way around- the lancer is based off the evo

hasnt the evo has been around for like 12 years starting with the first edition that was a 1.8 liter engine?

 

Did you mean you'll put an Evo badge on your trunk? Cuz if that's what you mean please don't do it. I'm cool with you wanting the Evo wing but no cheap badges please.

actuly the Evo was molded after the old Galant VR4....Mitsubishi made the Evo to replace the VR4 as a rally car.
