How many years will the Evo IX be in production?
How many years will the Evo IX be in production? the Evo VIII lasted three years from 03-05. Is 2006 the only year the IX will be in production?

I would guess 2 years of IX production.
IMO if the X were set for a 2007 release you would have seen camo'd ones running around the 'Ring which we have not yet seen.
I have not seen any regular Lancer spyshots from that platform which Im sure would be running around? Maybe I missed them?
This new platform is shared with Dodge? Might be a good indicator of what their timeframe is for models launched on that same platform.
My guess is 2008 release as 2008 model.

I've even read that the X will be intro'd late next year as an '07 model. I really don't think the 9's are going to be produced long...2 years max. I don't see why ppl are surprised by that, it seems like the 9 is such a small change from the 8.

hop on the registry and look at how long other evos (1-9) were around til the next model came out, 3 years is quite a while for a evo model. most were in production less than 2 years.
