To be honest I dislike the pompous attitudes of most Evo owners more than F body and Mustang guys. I have been around a number of Evo owners and I almost always come away with the same sour taste towards them. F body enthusiasts tend to be more down to earth and more hands on with their vehicles. Im not saying this holds true in every situation, but those are my experiences.
Case in point, go read the thread about Ipods in Evos and read the response about how worthless an Ipod in a car is and how the person is directed to consult a Camero or Mustang website. Ignorance. I guess though my signiture that Ive had for the past 2 years sums up my feelings on this topic though.

from my experience ls1 drivers have been pretty cool and mustang drivers are cocky and think they have something to prove...probably because they get beat by ls1's all day long, lol

My V8 is an LT5.
I found other import owners to be the ones with the most "bravado" of the sort the OP speaks of.

I hate most modified sports car drivers - domestic or import.
I get **** from everyone. I own a 1987 Buick Grand National with a Turbo charged/intercooled V6. When I drive the Buick the import guys want to race, and some domestic V8 guys because its just a little 3.8ltr V6. Most older guys are cool because they remember when the Turbo Buicks ruled the streets in the late 80's early 90's. When I drive my Evo every sports car and Honda on the road wants to race. It gets old and tiresome all I want to do is enjoy my boosted rides and be left alone.
