i got some pictures today, but first i have to see if this video works. took it with my camera. bear with me...

http://media.putfile.com/first-day-clip

that's the only vid i took of it. i almost forgot i HAD a video option on the camera.

there's only a down pipe on it, and the spool-down sounds so sweet in the vid! just took it up and down the street a few times. it'll be warm in a week or so and i'll get some more clips so we can hear something boosted. by then we should have the exhaust.

all in one piece again for now

uh, well, i have to admit... i wouldn't know. the car has been in the garage since november. (i know, i KNOW! "Boooo garaged evo" )

but the city doesnt salt the road we live on, so it was ok to send it down the street for that test run (i know one pic of the rear looks like salt, but it's just sticky, cold snow)

that and a friend with a blue by you stopped over for some new gadgets and seeing the damage the salt has already done... if it wasnt 20 degrees i would have washed it FOR him! salt rock chips, metal corrosion, rust... and not to mention all the other idiots you have to contend with on the winter roads.

i drove my gsx all winter and no matter how often i cleaned and no matter how much we spent on stainless bolts... it would never be the same

i'll drive a $500 tsi all day before that evo sees salted roads. (and i know, i KNOW, it's just a car, but it's MY CAR!)

you'll get there, hon, don't worry. you might have to give up alot of things... ALOT of things, to afford one at 18, and you will have many days where the only enjoyment you have is your ride to and from work, but you will get what you want if you want it bad enough.

look around for some used ones. you might be able to catch a few 03's at a decent price. do you ahve money to put down?

in a few more months. there is a local awd dynodynamics dyno now, and we'd also like to take it to slowboy to say hi to mike. we still need to put in the cams and exhaust and new gauges. still work to do.

and i need a tsi! and my boyfriend just bought a 350z, again.

hope that money tree i planted outside grows tall and strong this spring we'll be working so much we wont have any time to enjoy the cars.
