Coilovers

What is the difference between coilover springs and regular springs.

I assume the coilover includes the shock/struct along with the springs.

Assuming you mean sleeve coilovers they replace the springs and are height adjustable. Springs are just springs. Generally speaking coilovers lower the car more and are softer (read: bouncier). That's kinda an oversimplification, but this has been explained a few times and the answer is easy to find with a web search if not a forum search so you can do that part yourself.

Coilovers usually have an adjustable drop (screw it until u reach a desired drop). Springs drop to 1 height and that's it. I hope this helps

EDIT: Damn Andrew (Hobie)... u beat me to it!!!!

Is it hard to adjust the coilover heights without many tools?

The tools usually required are a pair of special wrenches included with the coilover. I'll try to find a pic.

EDIT: Here. (not for our car, but they look like the same thing anyway)

Cool...do you have to lift the car at all, or can you just get at the springs in the parking lot to adjust the height?
