19 year old boy trying to get a new car

I dont think i would like the insurance rates on an evo, even tho having an Evo would be so cool. Think the ralliart version would be a okay 2nd choice to an evo? insurance wise and cooliest wise.
i was thinking about:
Hyundai Tiburon
Mazda3
Mitsubishi Ralliart Lancer
Acura RSX (but insurance seems high on that too)
and a Scion Tc (but it doesnt seem to appeal alot to me i guess)

and man my account still works after 2-3 years of not using it ha.

No, the Ralliart isn't anywhere near the level of an Evo in terms of being cool, but insurance should be ok. I personally would get a Tc out of that list. I think they are pretty cool for the money, much cooler than a Lancer. Any non-Evo Lancer just looks like it's missing something no thanks to big brother. The Tc has nothing like it, so it stands apart and looks unique. It also has a lot of options from Toyota that you can add right away as well as a good aftermarket already. The Tiburon is pretty nice, too, especially the newer V6 version, but I don't know anything about their reliability.

Get a 240sx for like$2000 and trick it out for like $10,000 and stomp on any of these cars. Probably even the evo.

That wouldn't be very reliable. He could do the same in a 1G for half the price, but again, it wouldn't be reliable.

i never understood people who had to ask complete strangers what car they should buy. Im 20, decided I wanted an EVO, and bought it. I didnt care what my friends, no less forum guys wanted. just do it, if you want an evo, get an evo. nothing sucks more than being stuck paying for something you dont want.

WRX insurance is dirt cheap compared to an evo. look at the TR version?

i am 19 also and have an evo 9 the payments are 650 for it and 401 for my benz but i have a really good job and go to school full time as well, u just have to be willing to make the commitment, my insurance for both is right at 250 a month, the evo was the BEST car purchase i have ever made i have no regrets whatsoever

What in the world does a 19yo do for a living where he can afford $1300/mo in car payments/insurance alone while going to school full time? I need to find a job like that. That's almost as much as my wife and I combined with a large annual household income.
