I messed up my evo! What do I do?

So I had this nasty looking scratch on the trunk and I went to Mitsubishi and got some touch up paint. I applied too much on and it dried up. How can I remove it? It is a thick coat. I just want to take off the touch up paint, don't really care about the scratch underneath for now. Link to pics...

Your best bet at this point is a new paint job....... here in cali we have some mobile painting guys, that can do that at your home.. it just needs a little wet sand and a light coat reshot over the top, probably cost $200

You could mineral spirits, but be careful not to scratch the paint. And depending on how old your car is ( not to young of paint) if mineral spirits does not work, try lacquer thinner, but don't use to much. After you clean the touch up paint off your car, wash and wax the area.

+1

Do as he said, get someone to come and fix it. Or take it to a body shop and have them fix it.

wet sand it with like 2000 grit then do a heavy, medium, light compound in that order...then do a final coat with the swirl remover and shine.. and it will come out
