I read the whole thread and all I got was you callin BS every 5sec.
If you read the whole thing and all you got out of it was that then you seriously need to read a whole lot better dude. good luck

All I got beyond the BS is your shallow understanding of drag racing... What kind of dyno did he use? Ive seen evo's pull less than 200whp on certain types of dynos, seeing as you have never used that dyno I honestly don't see where you get your numbers from.

What the hell are you talking about? What numbers? The only numbers I was talking about were the numbers he provided hence the discussion.

Dynojet for me, a mustang dyno would have provided lower numbers and then this convo would be worse.

Exactly, you have no base line, only what he tells you. Which you seem determined not to believe.

Hey Sas, is your buddy running any kind of nitrous on that car? No 250+ shot no care. Houston does it big.

What school did you graduate from? Thats exactly what I am saying. The only thing I was basing anything from was from what he was telling everyone. I was taking the info that he gave me added it up and it wasn't adding up. Is this simple enough for you or do I need to spell it out?

Running 12.2 in a car that has 310whp in a dynojet also weighing more than the evo and being rwd is just crazy if you can put numbers together. 310WHP evos are running around the mid 12sec range with a good driver of course. So for a car without awd and is heavier is kinda hard to beleive that it is running those times especially like I said when there are buddies of mine with more powerful camaros not running as quick. Now if there was a 2000# car with 310whp it would be much more beleiveable.

Like I said before, the stall changes everything. You can't compare numbers from a manual to a stalled auto.

Read this thread, maybe you'll get a better understanding

http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread...onverters+work

How much does your evo weigh with you in it?

Just because the car is rwd doesn't mean that it can't hook like an awd car (with a proper tire of course). This isn't fwd traction (or lack thereof) we are talking about.

They can run as low as 13.0-13.3 if they are a freak. My car went 13.2 @ 108 with a muffler. A couple bolt ons later, I went 12.52@114. If I had pulled the same 60' as roarin 8, I might have been in the 11's.

Dude, we are talking about tourqe through a mulitplier. For all intensive purposes he could be putting almost twice as much torque to the wheels at launch as you are. It's a v8 so his top end will be in good shape and the whole car with him in it weighs what, 3505lbs I believe. Hmmm, twice as much torqe and 100 more lbs, seems like grade school math to me. Hmmm.
