Meagan Racing Header
Hey everyone i am thinking about installing the Meagan Racing header on my 05 Evo 8 and i wanted to know if it is a very hard job to do and how long it would take?

i just did it on my friend's evo9 about 2 weeks ago, should take u only 40mins to 60 mins, all the bolts on the stock header is clear, which means u can see it, just lose all and lose the dp where it connects to the outlet pipe, and lose the bolt on the bracket that's hold it as well, and push the whole turbo a bit tower the front and angle & pull out the header, pretty simple.
ps, that's the first time i work on the header of an EVO, i own Subaru, but i don't think it's harder than doing dp, intake which i did that for the same EVO as well . good luck

yeah i did it on mine and on a friends and it isnt hard once you know how to do it. disconnect the downpipe from the o2 housing. then undo all the bolts that connect the manifold to the turbo and head. when you've got all of them out(dont be afraid to get rough)push the turbo down a little bit and pull the manifold away from the head. it wont come off easy so you'll have to give it some elbow grease.
when putting the new manifold on, put the back two bolts in first and from experience they dont line up very easily so be patient and dont cross thread them. once those are in the hard part is over. just bolt everything back up and crank it and go for a spin
