srt4 vs evo 9

I actually got to race 3 SRT's so far in my stock Ix, results were pleasing. After my cousins friend talked some smack, he got his mopar stage 2 on his car with bigger exhaust,injectors,fuel pump on top of the ecu ect. Over all his new best time was a 13.29 and my car bone stock ran a 13.1 and couldve done better Sow that i have me TBE it feels like a 10 second car compared to wat it was.. cant wait to beat the heck out of him saturday at the track. Stock IX's are very dominating on even lightly modded VIII's. from what ive expereinced with them

Im not saying you DIDN'T beat him but by the mods you listed that he has he should be learning how to drive better if he's only getting a 13.2

my brother's s2k has seen 150+ on the digital speedo (not sure how accurate it is)
my friend's stage 1 srt4 got beat by my friend's stock IX gsr from a roll, not by much, maybe 1-2 cars from 40mph.
as for s2k vs. IX not sure yet, have yet to find out, since street racing is just not my thing.

who cares..its a Neon.
But if you do care. I had a passenger in my evo and we both weigh over 200 lbs, and a full tank of gas, my only engine mod is a TBE and I raced a friends white 2005 Srt on the freeway and put a car on him all the way to 120......he has a CAI and a short throw shifter.
Either way you look at it though, Srt's are the biggest POS's on the planet. I used to own one, and it was horrible. I would take my low 13 second Evo over a 10 sec Neon anyday of the week. (not saying my srt was 10 sec capable-IM using it as a basis for argument)
But if you do care. I had a passenger in my evo and we both weigh over 200 lbs, and a full tank of gas, my only engine mod is a TBE and I raced a friends white 2005 Srt on the freeway and put a car on him all the way to 120......he has a CAI and a short throw shifter.

First off, your Evo is still a lancer...
Second, saying the srt is a POS is just your opinion which nobody cares about. I bet if someone went from a Evo to buying a Ferrari, the Mitsu would immediately seem like a POS to them too.
I just got rid of my srt-4 yesterday for a new '06 IX MR and I still have respect for the srt, mainly because the amount of car it was for $21k. I might not respect most of the young/immature owners who drive them that think they can take on the world, but it is the best in the world at $21k for what it does, go fast. I don't understand why there is so much hate for certain cars out there.
Im the type of person who has always loved cars all my life. I've owned German(Porsche 944), American(Dodge srt-4), & Japanese cars(Mitsu IX MR). I have alot of respect for what's out there.
I really doubt you can design, test, & manufacture a car...if you do, then ignore this post.
Sorry for the rant, I just get offended(previously owning an srt) from a comment like this because your basically calling me and others who have/had one stupid for buying a "POS"

oh yea and no doubt from a dig the evo will (duh one of its biggest attractions of a lancer) but from a roll especially with a couple of key bolt ons the srt-4 will murder a stock evo or even an evo with a tbe. the 9s are faster though so a couple bolt ons on each side will make for a pretty decent race. srt-4 will not get killed by any means.. from a roll. from a roll there are no traction issues and its a better guage of the overall power of the car ie what car is fastr

first of all i would liek to say that i respect SRT-4's they are the best buy under 22 grand no doubt...and secondly i beg to differ that an Evo is just a lancer, that assumption is arrogant and untrue, and another thingg about a modded SRT-4 verse a stock Evo...i actually had a go with one that ran he said at best a 12.8 and claimed he had 319 at the wheels after a trip to the dyno...all i had was a TBE on my 9 and from the lien i cleaned him...of course he started pullign when we hit like 90 but we cut it down at 100...we went from a rol ltoo and he barely and i mean barely pulled on me...like in the end it was only by maybe a half a car...he's a good friend of mine too so we were both cool about it but to say a SRT-4 would crush an Evo from a roll isss sooo wrongg...now that i have my Warrtalon Stage 1 on we are ognna go at it again and i'll let u know how i do
