Dude, i would think the evo is meant to be a daily driver...I drive mine everyday since i bought it a year ago, and i love every minute of it...I dont think the car was meant to be a garage queen...It's not like we're driving 300,000 dollar lambo's or anything like that...

yep, I daily drive mine and love every minute if it. Well, I only drive it to school and work. but still, owning a garage queen is no fun. These cars are meant to be driven. I get about 20 mpg boosting it a little in town. So it is definately a great daily.

Everyday driver, 5k into a road trip... From Chicago to Miami, now in Houston. Got the car in Jan. of 06' and have 15k on it. I just had my 15k service done, and the car feels so much better. Shifts smoother, transitions are easier, but the weather here in Houston.... It SUCKS.

From reading all the magazines and reading what you owners have to say about their dd and track potential, i have decided to get an EVO , now i have to figure which one to get. Any suggestions? I need it to get me through pa winters and it needs to have power windows everything else dont matter. I just hate having to put teh windows down myself before i leave my house then it starts to rain on my way down the road ..

I read earlier about their handling and how great it was, does the handling of this car equal that of a corvette? I know my corvette is one of the best handling vehicles that i ever drove.

Really depends how much you want to spend. Are you looking for new or used?

450plus awhp daily driver. 50 miles a day, eats a lot of gas but every drive to work and back home is a blast!

My previous car was a Mustang and the Evo is much more enjoyable to drive - especially in the handling and braking department. Stock power is respectable, but considered by many to be insufficient. As far as creature comforts...there aren't a lot. It is a purpose built machine for performance at a best bang-for-the-buck price.

Only street car I have, and I've had it since the first month they came out in 03. Drive it rain, snow, sun, you name it. The cars are meant to be driven IMO.
