I recently bought an evo this month and i started out at Geico and like the guy said b4 i got out a jar of vasaline and let them stick me with a 4k a year policy. After searching I found Safeco insurance to be really cheap im only 20 and for one year its 2,600. Thats much cheaper than Geico but i do believe you have to have a clean Record to go with them so you cant have any tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
I hope that helps out a little.

Im 19, got a brand new evo 9 and I currently pay 93/month for full coverage, I couldnt believe it myself but when I made sure they were looking up the Lancer Evolution and not just the lancer, I said I am going to hold you to that quote, and here I am. I got lucky I guess because im on my parents policy, which was much cheaper but i still gotta pay for it. Anyways good luck everyone else gets raped if you are young and have a fast car such as an Evo

Hey guys, I'm 20 just bought a 2005 Lancer ES and I got full coverage on my parents policy. The thing is I have a Neglegent Driving conviction on my record and I still only pay a $121/month. Try getting on your parents policy that could help.

I have no idea why, but when I checked with State Farm Insurance here in the San Diego area to have my insurance switched over from a Florida policy to a Cali policy on my WRX wagon and Evo IX... they said that the Evo would run $151 per month while the WRX would run $264 per month! What the hell? Why would my 293 hp subaru cost more to insure than my 400 hp Evo? And it's a wagon for pete's sake.
I'm paying $154 total for both cars right now while they are fully insured with a Florida policy. Anybody hit's me... I'm killing them.

i'm 16 also and i'm getting my evo either in december or in feb. for my birthday once the tax returns come in, but what we are doing for insurance purposes is that my mom is gonna be on the evo as primary driver which makes it like $160ish a month and im on the 06 honda odessy as the primary driver which is like $200 a month but its cheaper than the 05 titan and the evo. oh btw we have state farm.
