flash tune and br intake filter= better mpg?
I have a br intake filter and I would like to get a flash for my evo IX, would i get better gas mileage since it's tuned with a good air filter?

^^^what he said^^^ but realistically you won't see better gas mileage because you will always be giving it throttle just to hear the cool sound from the filter.
Don't try to justify buying mods with better gas mileage. Sure a tune and a BR airfilter will yield better gase mileage BUT how much gas can you buy with the $80 from the filter and the $85-$750 for the flash? In the end it has to be because you wanted it and no other reason. Go ahead and buy it, it's okay and it's fun to mod your car.
If you bought an Evo for gas mileage then you should seriously reconsider. It's understandable to want the best gas mileage you can get from your existing car and most of that can only be controlled by you. Make sure your vehicle is in proper working order with proper air pressure in your tires and then drive conservatively. Do not spool up the turbo and keep it in a big gear and keep the rpm's low.
