Knowing the right thing to do when you fail can save your LIFE on the track. If you're coming into a corner too hot, brake all you can without locking the wheels (threshold braking) while on the pavement, then drive straight off the track, not sideways! Every race track has safety run-off areas in corners. Use them if you have to! For some reason students think they need to stay on the track at all costs, even if they go off sideways while trying. As I pointed out higher up in this thread, the person in this video went off sideways, and that's why he or she rolled. If the driver had just straightened the wheel and driven off the track under full braking they might have escaped with only their pride damaged. I'll take a tow shiny side up out of the kitty litter any day, and I have several times!

so much for the evo wings being indestructable. shows what women can do to a car. im glad i was the first to use the "wing" comment. usually someone says it cant be destroyed first.

Whether the driver is good or not is one thing, but he/she was completely reckless. It wasn't even the drifting, he was aggressively passing all the other cars. Any real track marshal would have kicked him off the track before the accident. wasted a perfectly good evo...

I agree with monkey man, the driving was interesting but very rude to other track cars. If you are really that much faster, take the time to pass safely, not shoving your way in. this isnt nascar now....
