Alaska's skies look beautiful!
Good, lining the roof up with the horizon. You've got an absolutely beautiful backdrop to work with the car and you should make it work to your advantage. Maybe try shooting the car slightly angled while aiming more at the front fender. Breaking up the tendency towards symmetry in your composition --combined with depth-- will give you the best photos.
My only other suggestion would be shooting at another time of day or shooting from the other side or moving the car into a better position because you're missing key light on the photo's subject which is very crucial.
I do this stuff for a living, so I'll hush up Just get out and try stuff. Photography should be fun and creative no matter what camera, setting or subject you're using. It's a very nice looking subject, btw!
