I have a RR IX MR and I have about 10 million rock chips on my hood. Very few on the front bumper and on the rest of the car but the hood is nasty. I really didn't have any for the first few thousand miles. I went on a mountain run with some of my buddies with evos and I got a lot of chips ( which was understandable) but the rest of the chips are from normal driving. It sucks but you have to deal with it. You can see the scratches in my paint from when the dealership washed the car really easily. You can also see the chips very easily because of the red/ white contrast. My car has almost 10,000 miles right now.

Yea... i have the same problem RR IX MR and a ton of chips on it already. Only 5.6k miles on it too... makes me sad... I even had some kick up from the front tires onto my doors

Not to mention, I dunno if the Evos have this problem, but everytime I look at my car I find a new scratch.

Mitsu dips thier cars. they have a painter to fix any thing that might have messed up when the paint was applied. not all of the cars see the painter and from what i was told only a few need fixed, but who knows right. put it this way **** happens, atleast it wasn't a drive/powertrain failure...
