Yea i have numerous manual cars before this and ive never done this before, im still a little puzzled. But the car idling fine. And there is no valve tick, so hopefully its ok. Good thing im under warranty though, extended warranty, but i dont want to have to use it just yet. Seems ok for now, thanks for all the input guys!

You should be ok. but be carefull man, Miss-sfhifts sneak up on you.
Also It's funny people mentioned the K-sesries..I had two overrevs to 11K in my RSX and the car is Fine. I got away lucky, so now that car doesnt see much action anymore.
By the way this was a Boosted Type S on 12PSI..
Very STRONG ENGINES!.

You should step on the clutch not the brake when that happens......omg noobs
Not only that....most of these kids in here you are asking for advice have know idea what they are talking about.
Yes your car MIGHT be fine....but you might have also TOASTED YOUR VALVES or bent them. So basically what you do is not drive the car until you pull the head off and take a look. Just because it drives fine now, doesn't mean you didnt ruin your car. So be safe and take the head off to make sure you didnt screw it up.
If you dont know how to pull the head then tow it to a mechanic.
And by the way the warranty doesn't cover anything that you caused yourself like a misshift. So goodluck trying to warranty it if you did screw something up. Warranty is for something that goes wrong with the car due to MITSU, not due to yourself misshifting during your wannabe touge run.
