Hate to be a buzz kill but there is only one good purpose for this conversion....drift...the car loses a lot of its performance potential when this is done so I dont think anyone would be doing it to their car unless they were serious about drifting or wanted to lose one of the Evo's greatest features.

damn that ****er can drive... If it were somewhat easily reversible I'd look into this, would be sweet if we could get an on/off type deal with the acd, but I'm sure thats not really possible

rwd = more power to the wheels... and if you can really drive... rwd handles better on pavement....

but converting and evo to rwd, your still gonna hold onto all the weight of awd unless you turn the motor transversely.

btw that's reese millen, and i think vishnu has a rwd evo drift car as well.

The RWD evo used in the movie had 0-60 and 1/4 times substantially lower than even a stock AWD evo. Obviously some of that is due to the gigantic wheels, body kit, wing, etc. but I think it's safe to say that most of the decline is due to the conversion, you're taking a car designed to be AWD and making it RWD. I'd be surprised if it handled as well as a stock evo, simply because it was designed to use all 4 wheels, not just 2.
