Get a really big stereo installed, roll down your windows, and then play a recording of a jet taking off while you accelerate. With that big spoiler on the back, some bystanders could think you might actually take off!

Nothing is going to make it sound like that but you can get close with the Greddy Titanium Cat-back, test pipe for the exhaust sound. HKS RS intake for the loud suction noise and a HKS ssqv running vta for an intimidating blow off... then put some money in your savings account for when you get pulled over 'cause that ****s going to be loud... enjoy

what the hell are you talking about air ripping jet take off ? this has to be one of the most idiotic questions i have ever heard asked... ranks up there with the guy asking why the intercooler sprayer in his 06 MR has brown fluid in it.... if you are asking about dumb a$$ $h1t like this, you need to trade in your EVO, get rid of it, or whatever, go buy a cheap civic hatch, get the big wing for the top, and any other rice product you can find.

say what you want, call me a troll or whatever.... but your question isnt for anyone to learn anything except to learn that their are some real stupid questions still left to be answered. If you have any doubt of my qualifications... read my sig

Dude, The Fist thing that I thought was Ricer. But If you wan't the Wooshing, you need rice supplies. But I figured to Follow in Warrtalon's footsteps and attempt to save ricers. You should buy The HKS Hi power or the Buschur Racing, or the AMS Performance TBE. Pretty Much any good TBE. No Ebay crap. No BOV and No Intakes. After you get a TBE get a MBC and a Fuel pump. Go and Get it tuned. That is what your first mods should be. A drop in is ok. Yo don't need the Apexi Afc, a tune will redo your fuel.

Wow, alot of $hit talkers tonight.
This is in no way a stupid question. While working a heat at an autocross event there was an STi with an exhaust with this sound to it. I am simply curious as to what he was running.

I am not a little kid or a fool. I just want to know what the guy was running.

No it was not his BOV. I am not some noob. I just frazed it as such because there was no other way to describe his exhaust. It sounded really free flowing with a loud ripping sound.

From what I understood, he wants his car to make a bunch of sounds. I'm there with you buddy. I enjoy the sounds as long as it doesn't hurt my 1/4mile times...

sorry if offended you, Subbys make alot of turbo Whistle thru the Exhaust. I am not sure why. If you wan't a simalar effect you pretty much need to straight pipe your car. If its turbo.

Sti's tend to make that sound you are talking about with full exhaust, intake, and a large turbo. You tend to get a huge amount of spool whistle as I call it...
