TBE is a turbo back exhaust when catback goes from the cat back. For best gains you should go with a TBE.

If pricing is an issue helix makes good cheap parts.

I think a vendor or two has a sale on them even *shrugs* In the end its personal preference on what "style" of exhaust you want. Pretty much all 3" will give you very similar results.

I have a megan racing downpipe with a turboxs cat delete and catback

it sounds pretty mean...very simple looking

the buschur is probably the best for the money...and it is also one of the lightest (not including titanium exhausts)

hks and jic are more "pretty" looking catbacks

**when searching for a TBE or if you get an exhaust in pieces MAKE SURE you get a downpipe that SPECIFICALLY states it will work on an Evo IX

TBE - downpipe | cat delete/cat/high flow cat | catback

My boy has the TurboXS tbe. Its a nice unit and sounds good. His brother runs the Greddy Ti and we all love the way it sounds. But if money is not an issue Greddy Ti is the loudest, best sounding, lightest exhaust you can get. Get the TurboXS downpipe, A-spec full titanium test pipe (1.4 lbs), and Greddy Ti cat-back. You won't look back, ever

34Turbo..... I dont want to deal with cops here in Idaho.... Traffic law is strict about how loud the exhaust is.

so i will be good with a TXS TBE for NOW.... Greddy Ti is on my shopping list .. I didnt forget about it

I Just Hope that i dont regret the TXS TBE as my first mod

Considering where you live the first mod had better be SNOW TIRES.
