Slip the clutch a bit at low speeds.
Take it easy on the brakes.
Drive it like its meant to be driven. Dont baby it!!!
There have been a few advances in machining over the years the rings wear within the first 20miles not 500, 1k, 2k etc.
Take it to redline let off the gas until you reach a stop do this about 4 times. Drive like you would if it had 20k miles, for the next 500 miles then change the oil. The your done. You can do all this in a weekend. Synthetic every 5k, w/filter.
Done this with:
Ford powerstroke
Dodge cummins (little different break in)
C5 and C6 corvettes
E36, E46 M3
VW 1.8, VR6
Honda B18C5
SR20DET
Jeep 4.0L
NEVER HAD A PROBLEM! Majority of these engines have been disassembled and inspected, looking nearly flawless. Some may have other opinions but Ive had a pretty good track record thus far. Dyno numbers to back up these claims also tend to support this procedure, nothing major (5-10hp) increase but a difference.

im starting to hit high boost now cuz i really cant take it any more, but im trying my best to keep it down. the car is unreal on turns, o my god this thing makes my bimmer look like its nothing. im so happy i got this car even though its you can hear everything when your driving, and imean everything.

I drove mine like mad from the first test drive. Hell, I didn't even know if I was going to get if for sure yet... I thought that sales guy was going to puke. LOL! After that I took it easy (somewhat) until 500 miles and have just been driving it normal since. Definately need some mods, though. I almost got pwnd by a Cobalt SS. Hah, and a chck was driving it.
