Thanks for viewing. As the title states, I have my 2 months old , 06 Tarmac EVO MR SE. and i cant make up my mind on which % window tint i should put for my baby.

Help me out, and if you can post some pics of your window tint and the percentage!

you can get the darkest.. but watch out for cops.. or do like what i did.. bought my MR from the dealership with tint already in it.. not way dark,, but reasonale enough.. i got stopped a lot of times before, in my old car.. i think i had the 15% (way dark).. and then whenever i pass by a cop, i roll my windows down quick.. .. but now since i traded my old car with the MR.. i am happy with the tint that the dealership already put.. for now at least..

ive got 20% on mine and it looks great, and its not too dark to attract attention from the cops.

EAFO, can you post a pic ... I saw a silver EVO with 20 and i think i ll go with that %.

just because i just got it done a week or so ago and haven't taken any pics of the evo with it.

its what the tinter recommended for me, its illegal, but the legal limit is 28% in FL. he showed it to me on a nice black AMG benz they had just done and it looked like it matched the paint.

when i was in florida i liked the legal limit (as mentioned, 28%). i'm not a drug dealer so i don't care if people can see me in the car, and i also don't mind a little bit of sunshine. not too light, not too dark, just right. from my experience though any darker than 20% and you might as well get used to not having windows at night.

Go with 20% on back & rear side windows, then get 50% on the front driver & passenger windows. Looks great. Would post a pic of mine, but I won't be able to until next week...

Get as low as your state allows unless you dont care about cops than get as dark as you want. The darker the better in my opinion.

Go with a tint called Quantum in the darkest that they offer. Not to dark not to light and is really a great looking tint esp. on a black car.

I have 20% on mine all around (except front windshield of course)...well actually it ended up being 16% when I got pulled. looks real nice. Kind of hard to backup at night...in dimmed areas, I have to roll the windows down.

Just stay with legal tint.... Save your self the money and aggrevation of a ticket. Damn cops have nothing better to do.

I agree. Find out what is legal in your state and get that done.
