yep, mine is actually turning yellow...that's what happens when you run no cat. the heat shield will only protect the interior area, does nothing for the outer area around the tail pipe, but if you just want to cover that up get the heat shield or use some goop off and that will help to get it off.

The best thing I have found to use that does not hurt the paint is a clay bar. It will take out all of the contaminants and bring back the original color.

If you drive fast enough the exhaust gas will not have enough time to stick to your bumper. :P

I got stock exhuast, and it's already black. Granted, I have a white vehicle... Who sells carbon fiber heat shields?

Just use Bug and Tar Remover by Turtle Wax. Once it gets warm out here I'm going to do a right up on it. Brings it back to normal. Just a little elbow greese and it look fine.

Just wax that part of the rear bumper often so that the carbon won't stick and it will be easier to clean it off. Or if you want to spend extra then get the CF shield.

I have the angled HKS so just imagine how that works out for me? But it is not big deal at all. I either use some bug and tar remover and then apply some wax or just use liquid wax and it comes right off. I usually use liquid wax to take off the carbon every time I wash the car and it takes 2 mins. Dont apply the wax as you would normally though. Just use it as a cleaner.

Yeah...already said but a little elbow grease and some wax will take it right off and add a layer of protection....do it regularly for easier cleaning down the road.....
