Dent in Exhaust Question

I just purchased a 3'' Megan Catback for my IX and it has a small dent in it.

I was wondering what everyone's take is on this... will it effect performance at all? Should I go through the shipping hasstle of trying to get it replaced?

id say, keep it, but make it aware to the company that received in in that condition.maybe they will compensate u, or they will blame it on the shipping company and with no insurance on an item u are S.O.L

i know that a lot of places would honor it and replace it...it shouldnt affect performance though. its not on the piping, which is where it'll mess up air flow a bit.

It's up to you, as it won't affect performance at all.

it wont make a difference in performance, but when its time to sell you'll probably lose 10-20% compared to one thats 100%

cheers!
